Five things I’d like to see added to Gravity
March 30th, 2009

After a day of playing with Gravity the all new Twitter client for S60 Mobiles there a few things that I would like to see added to improve its functionality.
- Now added Full Screen, with screens on most s60 devices being only 320×240 or 240×320 pixels, an option to hide the top tabs and bottom menus until a key is pressed, would be most welcome.
- Now in beta, Access point handling, with auto switching between access points, take a look at how fring works with almost transparent switching between designated access points
- Google optimised links, s60′s browser is getting a bit long in the tooth these days especially with media heavy sites, an option to view the google mobileised version would be a great addition.
- Now Added Twitpic thumbnails in posts, it would be nice to be able to view a small thumbnail without needing to click on a link
- Autostart and Autoconnect, auto connect is now in beta
The above are just my personal observations, with or without them Gravity is a fantastic application.
Follow janole on twitter for updates on features etc, most of what I originally wanted added and loads more is now implemented or in beta.

The limit on displayed images you can choose from is also a real pain. I think the limit is currently the last 8 images taken. But the main drawback, in my opinion, is a complete lack of a support community, forum or even Get Satisfaction page. The support process is entirely based on emails and twitter. Nevertheless, I agree with you: this is the best twitter application currently available for S60 3rd edition.
